Keeps Resetting Site URL

  • I’m on the verge of drinking lol.

    For some reason when I log out of a sub site it changes the Siteurl, the first option the ‘edit’ site control panel – back to the primary domain.

    For example, the primary domain is varsitynewsnetwork.com

    the sub site is varsitynewsnetwork.com/eastgrandrapids

    As soon as I log out of the sub site, it takes me back to the primary domain and resets the ‘Siteurl’ back to varsitynewsnetwork.com and deletes the eastgrandrapids!

  • Have you tried disabling the plugins?

    And when you’re logging out of sub-sites – is it a different username? because with your user/pass you should be logged in (or out) of the main sites AND the subs.

    Looks like it’s redirecting you back to your primary blog (which woudl be the main one).

    Did you already go back and fix the subsite? because it’s working. you may be looking at the details for the main site.

    I think I found the issue cause it seems to be going well now, I was ready to start drinking as a hobby ?? I did a change in the primary domain and there was still some lingering effects of that going on. in wp-config, it still had a line of code stating to ‘relocate’ and it referenced the original primary domain!
