    Hello!

    In this case WordPress caught the error in the plugin Search Regex.

    WordPress version:5.9.3
    current plugin:Search Regex (version 3.0.0)
    PHP version:7.2.34

    [error details]
    Error type E_PARSE occurred on line 156 of /home/xxx/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-regex/includes/modifier/modifier-member.php file. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’

    [NOW]
    WordPress version:6.0.2
    current plugin:Search Regex (version 3.0.6)
    PHP version:7.2.34

    Is it OK to update and activate the plugin?

    I don’t know what you mean by this message, but it is safe to use the plugin.

    Thank you for your reply! and I’m sorry I didn’t explain it enough.

    My dashboard broke after updating the plugin on July 25th 2022.

    And I received the following email.

    In this case WordPress caught the error in the plugin Search Regex.

    My current environment is:
    WordPress version:6.0.2
    current plugin:Search Regex (version 3.0.6)
    PHP version:7.2.34

    Is it OK to update and activate the plugin?
