• I recently started getting the following error on one (only ONE!) of our posts

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 48 bytes) in /home/content/i/s/i/isignify/html/ilovewerewolves/blog/wp-includes/load.php on line 552

The post that is getting this error has 16,775 comments. Could that be why this post is getting the error? And how can I fix it on this one post?

I’ve read different posts in here that the solution is to increase the PHP memory limit to solve this problem, but that didn’t work. I downloaded some plugins to see how much memory we’re using and it says we’re only using 8M of 64M…so it looks like we have sufficient memory…

Anyone have any idea? It seems like it’s definitely related to the number of comments…how can I tell if that is what it is for sure? And how can i fix it? Again, it’s just happening on this one post which is odd…

Thank you to anyone that can help!

It’s possible that it’s related to the comment count, but that’s not always the case.

Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.
