[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Upgrade to 0.9.1 breaks access to WordPress editor
-
Was using the development version of W3TC. When the (initial) notification to upgrade to 0.9.1 came out, I upgraded using the “Updates” process under “Dashboard.” Upgrade proceeded with no problem and plugin activated itself. Attempt to go back to the dashboard showed me the sidebar in the WordPress Editor, but nothing in the field. The site appeared to be working fine for my users.
Since I couldn’t disable anything in the WordPress editor, I logged in to my site manager and disabled all the other plugins individually by renaming them, until I had eliminated everything but W3TC. Fortunately I had downloaded the development version of the plugin to my local machine, so I uploaded it and renamed the 0.9.1 release.
Did I do something wrong in the upgrade, or was there another problem associated with 0.9.1? I noted the 500 server error, but I wasn’t getting that.
