• Hi,
I received a message from Google stating that they are deprecating the OAuth out-of-band (OOB) flow that SimpleCalendar plugin is using by Oct 3rd , 2022.
And that this plugin should migrate to user more secured methods.
There has been no announcement by SimpleCalendar or updates on this.
Does anyone know if the SimpleCalendar team has updated the plugin to deal with this?
I sent them a message in May, and they said they are aware of it, and they planned to do something but they told they don’t know if they will have a solution by the deadline.
I sent them another message a week ago but they have not answered at all.

    Thanks.

  • I really an app upgrade simplifies this, I really don’t want to go through the migration guide a for a simple calendar plugin. Still don’t know why this is so complicated, but anyway. Hopefully you hear back soon. I could see if I used a FREE version of the app, but nope. We paid for this one.

    Hey all,

Thanks for keeping in touch with us.

In this case, since this is a query involving the pro addon, I would recommend that you submit this as a support query here: https://simplecalendar.io/contact/ for better assistance on this.

    Kind Regards,

    John
