Can’t access or edit footer

    Ever since the recent WordPress update I have lost access to the footer I created with the Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin. When I hover over Edit with Elementor I no longer see the option to edit footer. It is also not in the list of templates in Appearance > Elementor Header & Footer Builder.

    I use Ocean-WP which I actually had some other issues with after the WP update which I fixed. But this is the only issue I have left, any ideas?

    I have tried disabling plugins and turning off Caching but no different.
    Any help is much appreciated!

    Thank you for your kind patience and sorry for the delay in replying to you here.

    I got your issue and have checked the same on my test site also once again for my reference. Kindly check the below linked screenshot where you can see that WordPress 6.0.2 is installed and also have installed Ocean-WP like your environment:

    I tried to replicate the same result, but as you can see the header and footer are appearing fine in the list for me at the back-end. However, I tried to edit them from the front-end also and it worked for me.

    Perhaps I am missing something here in following steps to replicate the same results probably.

    Just for your information, I want to tell you that we have received similar issues from other EHF users also at our support channel. A few of them have reported back that the issue has been fixed by taking updates of Elementor itself. Did you try that?

    Hello @bsfumar and thanks for your reply. Sorry it took a while to get back to you.

    I have indeed updated Elementor but no luck! It’s almost like the Footer is stuck on the website and Elementor doesn’t realize it is there. Any idea on why this may be happening?

    That is a really strange thing as it shouldn’t be like that.

    I assume that you already went through the basic troubleshooting steps by deactivating other 3rd party plugins and checked with the default WordPress theme as well.

    If yes and you are still facing the same issue, then we would like to take a closer look from my side on this one if you allow. Could you please open a ticket with the details so we can look closely at your website?
