VERY SLOW page loading

    I have only two category rules, one based on total units and another based on price.

    With the plugin disabled I have a load time for a category page of about 2-3 seconds, with it enabled it becomes about 25-30 seconds.
    Deleting one of the two rules, it becomes about 18-20 seconds. It happens in all the shop categories, even those not affected by the rules.
    Even the product details page doubles the loading time from 2-3 to 6-7 sec.

    The error log doesn’t give any message, but on a stack trace it shows that the plugin is the process that slows everything (moreover, disabling it, it loads quickly).

    Any idea on how it could happen and how to fix it?
