Venue default for Country & State not carrying over in EVENT creation mode

    I have created country and state defaults for new venues and it is truly unlikely those will change often since our non-profit is literally for the great state of New Jersey. But we generally have a new venue for 90% of our events so it’s much easier to create a venue from within a new “Event” post, but there the defaults don’t carry over. Any thoughts? It’s also a little weird that when we create a new venue, the google map doesn’t update until we save the event, but that’s another matter.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    This, unfortunately, is the default behavior as saved default address settings are not carried over to the venue creation module with the event editor. However, this sounds like an excellent feature to have.
