Variable products without dash “-“.

    Hello dear,

    I have a problem with the dash “-” I use the SKU to generate barcode labels but when my RF device scans it, it detects another code. How can the variable items be created without the “-” dash?

    example if the parent part number is: 12345
    variable item 1 is: 12345-01
    variable item 2 is: 12345-02

    …..

    could it be without “-“? ie:

    variable element 1 is: 1234501
    variable element 2 is: 1234502

    Hello.

    I have prepared a solution for you, install it on top of the current plugin and the separator “-” will no longer be.

    After that, soon, will be released update the plugin, in which I will make it possible to select the separator for variant products

    Thank you very much for the quick response! I just tested the plugin by downloading and installing it. But I still get the “-“:

    If the code of the father is: 94235
    To variation 1: 94235-01 I need: 9423501
    To variation 2: 94235-02 I need: 9423502
    To variation 3: 94235-03 I need: 9423503

    This is the configuration I have in the settings:

    Characters: 5
    Prefix SKU:
    Select SKU format: Only numbers, for example – 893267
    Add product ID:
    Take previous product:
    Variable product:
    Duplicate SKUs:

    Absolutely not. Always update the plugins. I’ve provided backward compatibility, so you can safely update the plugin

    To the thread of this conversation, maybe I’m asking too much, but I’ll tell you, we do the cloning of articles, normally we click on the button to generate the code but it is true that sometimes they forget, it would be possible that the code that generates the clone that says “-01” is without the hyphen, so if you ever forget the code is correct.
