Going nuts here, hope someone can help. I started messing with some stuff in wp-login.php this week and created a big mess. I’ve fixed things up to the point where all the error messages have disappeared. Problem is, when I try to login to my admin page, the screen simply refreshes. Nuclear Moose suggested I turn off my cookies, but I’m not sure how to do this. I put // in front of a bunch of cookie-related lines in wp-login.php with zero luck.

    1) How do I turn off cookies?
    2) Anybody have any other ideas about how to fix this problem? I need to access my admin page!

If I can’t sort this out, I feel I may just chuck in the towel with WordPress. It’s been fun, but I simply feel I’m in over my head here.

    Cheers!

Turning off cookies in your browser? That should just entail going to your browser’s options panel (usually under Tools>Options) and flipping through the different sections until you find the appropriate checkbox or button. It’s usually under security options.
