Change Directory Name

Hi,

I currently am running WP 1.2 in a directory called mysite.org/blog. I want to change the directory to something else so that I would be mysite.org/something-else.

If I just go in with a FTP client and rename the folder from “blog” to “something-else” I’m guessing that this will wreck something within wordpress. If I want to do this, what changes do I need to make before alterning the directory? Would I just create a new database? or can I rename a mysql database?
