Defer offscreen images

    It seems that deferred loading of offscreen images does not work for Elementor “hidden” elements.
    We have quite some images in a section hidden for mobile view, but PageSpeed Insights clearly mark them as not deferred.
    Deferred image loading images, background images and iframes/videos is enabled, no exceptions.

    Is there anything we can do about that?

  • @gnampf It should work with Elementor hidden elements, we will test it on our side and update you soon, if it possible to defer Elementor hidden elements.

    Is there any news about this?
    I hate to rush things, but this causes a LCP problem for us.

    @gnampf We don’t find any issues with the Elementor, could you please let us know the steps to reproduce it?
