plugin available that uses images to preview a post?

  • My wife thinks that may be a better way of stating what I’m looking for in a plugin. I would like to use an image to “preview” or represent a post.

    I am visualizing a list of the recent posts with images used to represent each post. The image would be assigned within the post, perhaps in a custom field.

    It’d be even better if the plugin would allow “recent posts from ‘x’ category” so it only lists the recent posts from a certain category.

    If this plugin is not available would someone be interested in putting it together? I’m interested enough to pay for some intrepid programmer’s time.

    Hmmm. Nothing on any front. Would love to see this plugin. I just think images grab viewers better than text. So, while it’s easy enuf to put up a Recent Posts list it’d just be flashier to have each post represented by an image.
