Admin Themes

  • Is there any Theme support within the admin section of WordPress? I wish to rebrand WordPress as im using it as the basis of my companys intranet.

    If not is how can i get it to set the session need to login to WordPress from another page? I’ve set it up so that it passes the Username and Password via the wp_setcookie() yet when it gets to the Login page it states the Session has expired? i assume it maybe as im not setting the cookie hash correctly?

    I really dont wish to have to edit the admin files to style the backend…

  • The admin “screens” are set by the wp-admin.css and found in the wp-admin folder, if you need to change the style. I don’t know about the cookie issue.

    are you simply trying to restyle the appearence of the admin area, or do you want to add/remove certain sections that are already there?
