Custom Status Conflict – PublishPress

It looks like there is a WP to Twitter conflict with PublishPress custom statuses and Classic Editor. Upon creating or updating a post, “Draft” is selected as the post status no matter the current status. I’ve reached out to PublishPress and they have not been able to identify any particular hooks that would be causing the issue. I’ve not been able to identify any JS conflicts.

To reproduce:
– Clean WordPress install
– Install, activate Wp to Twitter, PublishPress, Classic Editor
– Add a custom test status via PublishPress
– Set custom status on default Hello World! post -> Save
– “Draft” status selected
