Multi-language support

Hello,

please, is there any change WP gets native support for multiple languages?

I’m asking this here because I guess such question would rank very poorly in any poll because usually people run WP as their own blogs/CMS. OTOH, there are a very few people responsible for the sites of NGOs and national organizations which might get huge traffic on its own but those admins would be unable to “out-vote” the usual majority. In other words, multi-language WP would benefit many more people as any poll could ever indicate.

PS: I’m specifically talking about native support. I know there are such plugins but they break with other plugins, have different release cycle, support, …
