Featured image not always showing on Twitter

  • Twitter seems very fickle with regards to showing the featured images that our client adds to his WordPress posts.

    All images are exactly the same size (800 × 486 pixels) and all are JPGs. Yet Twitter will show the image for one and not for the other post. There seems to not be any logic in when it does show the image or when it won’t. Frankly we’re at a loss how to go about this and get the image to show up every time.

    Do you have any idea what could be the cause of this?

    sorry I did not find the time to answer.

    To me, Twitter has many issues with its caching strategy, leading to lots of fetching errors.
