    Hello,
Ads added using Advanced Ads shortcodes display for a few minutes then disappears. I don’t experience this problem if I add an ad’s code directly on a page or post.

For instance, an ad whose code I added directly as a sticky footer is live right now. But an ad I placed below the header using Advanced ads stopped displaying after a few minutes.

I have tried every solution including disabling the plugins one by one but no solution has been found. What could be the problem?

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I checked back your website and found Advanced Ads placements after the third, sixth, and twelfth paragraph in your articles. These ads are showing fine and aren’t disappearing while viewing your website.

I was unable to identify any Advanced Ads placements or ad code in your header and see the reported behavior.

Please create a manual or sidebar placement and assign this using the Advanced Ads widget block in your Astra theme customizer on the position of choice in your header. https://d.pr/i/DX2woQ

You can find additional information in this manual about ads in your websites’ header section, and please let me know if you have further questions.

    Best regards,
    Henning

Thank you for the response. I placed a shortcode manually below the header. It doesn’t display the ads.

The ads you are able to see within the content were placed automatically in Advance Ads without using shortcodes. The issue is about ads placed using shortcodes.

Strangely, I have just realized that an ad I placed in the widget without using shortcode disappeared.

    Hi Brian,

There is an unfilled widget block in your header. Does this also happen if you’re using text or an image to assign this to this block position and save the configuration?

    Best regards,

Hello @henningaa , it only happens if I add a shortcode.

    Hi Brian,

I tried this assigning the ad shortcode on a shortcode widget in the astra theme header. The ad is showing as requested and did not disappear.

I assume some other elements to interfere here, like the ad code itself or additional optimization and caching settings. Can you please try this with a simple image ad and see if it is showing as requested?

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi Brian,

I hope you are doing well.

Were you able to test this using a dummy or image ad?

As a workaround, I suggest using the Advanced Ads widget to assign your ads to the positions available in the theme.

    Best regards,
    Henning
