• Guys, this is a damn plugin with popups, why do you need a whole form with my name, last name and card details? So spammers don’t sign up? What a bullshit, put a captcha and do not f**k people’s brains.

    Hi @whatsin,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.

Unlike many products in the www.remarpro.com repository, OptinMonster is a SaaS product (essentially, software we host so you don’t have to host the entire application on your own site, which can often slow down a site).

Our WordPress plugin extends the functionality of OptinMonster for WordPress users specifically, letting them more easily target pages, posts, categories, tags, and even integrates with other WordPress plugins…but it does require a connection to our app to access the core functionality.

The purpose of registering an account then is so that we can connect the plugin on your site, to the app itself.

If you have any other questions about how OptinMonster and our WordPress plugin work together to help grow lists, leads and sales, please don’t hesitate to ask.
