• I received an email from wordpress stating my site was experiencing a technical issue, the error details are copied at the bottom of this post for info.

My site was running 100% fine but I was finding that I couldn’t save any changes to pages, plugin scripts, etc via dashboard. It would allow me to access the specific section but when I tried saving changes it would time out and say the site couldn’t be reached. So I deactivated the plugin and this hasn’t solved my issues.

Can anyone shed any light onto why I wouldn’t be able to make changes to my site?

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 6.0
    Active theme: Neve (version 3.3.3)
Current plugin: Insert PHP Code Snippet (version 1.3.3)
    PHP version 8.0.19

  • Hello @morts81,

As the error message says, the problem is with the following plugin or a snippet you added:

Current plugin: Insert PHP Code Snippet (version 1.3.3)

Disable the plugin, and see if everything functions as normal.

If yes, enable the plugin back again, then disable snippet by snippet and check your options after disabling each.

Once you find the culprit code, try to fix it.

If the issue is with the plugin itself, you’ll need to reach the plugin developers for support.

    Best of luck
