• Out of the box and using ONLY the WooCommerce version they ask you to use it works very well.

However, the WC version they use is too far out of date and poses a high-risk security issue.

The other issue is the need to run a cron to process orders on a 5-minute (or less/more) basis.

This means the buyer does not get the download immediately, they have to wait for your website to process the cron to then send the buyer an email with a download link with a random name, which is fine as I assume that is to secure the actual files you have without a direct link to them.

Ongoing development, support and forum answers appear to be slow or non-existant.

I understand Woocommerce has constant updates that can be hard to keep up with, but it would be better to have a built-in eCommerce function to remove that dependency on WooCommerce, otherwise, keep it up to date with the latest version or at least the newest version possible that is not a security issue when using WooCommerce.

The fact it uses an outdated version of WooCommerce is why I would not recommend this product for any purpose. The security risk to your buyers AND you is too high.
