502 Gateway Timeout

  • Hello Brecht,

    Wp Recipe Maker is a much-loved plugin. I have been using this for me than 2 years now. However, it is causing 502 Gateway/ Server Timeout on my website’s backend https://www.gosumitup.com for every single instance.

    I have checked and rechecked this after disabling all the plugins and reached this conclusion.

    I have even uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it from WP but even that didn’t help.

    May I request your help to overcome this problem for your mission-critical plugin, please?

    Hi there,

    How many recipes do you have on your site?

    What is the exact error message that should be in the logs? What process is it timing out on?

    Hello Brecht,

    There are 240 recipes on https://www.gosumitup.com enabled with WP Recipe Maker. And the error with the plugin activated comes on almost every click in the WP admin area.

    240 should definitely not be an issue.

    502 is a server error. Is your webhost able to tell where the problem is coming from exactly?
