All cookies are active before accepting

    Hi guys,

    I scanned for the cookies and imported them into the cookie list. All cookies are added to categories.

    When I now load the page all cookies are active. It doesn’t matter if I accept them or not.

    What’s going wrong? I use Plugin version 2.1.2, so the latest one.

    Please help me.

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

    In our plugin menu, you can see an option called “Script Blocker”. If you go to this option there are some plugins listed there. Our plugin can block by default these plugins if you turn on their script blocker individually by assigning them the category containing their cookies.

    If you have scripts to block then please add them through our plugin cookie category rather than adding them to your site’s source so that the scripts will stay blocked until the site visitor gives his consent for that category.

    Take Google Analytics as an example. You will be having GA scripts with you. Go to GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category > Analytics > Edit and you will find a script input section. Add your GA script there so that GA will not set cookies until the site visitor gives acceptance to all cookies or specifically gives consent to the Analytics category.

    Hi guys,

    thanks for the fast response. My analytics and facebook scripts are added by plugins. Will they be blocked, when I add this code to the category text area? Why do I then have the Cookie scanner and why can I add the cookies then to a cookie list. How can I block cookies from this list until they are accepted?
