Variations not appearing for Registrations

I am using an older plugin “Registrations for WooCommerce” and the variations (Event dates) are not showing on the Grouped product page. The two events are being displayed as a simple product.

Other plugins I’m using and or have tested show the variations. They don’t appear to be stored in the database in a custom manner.

The “Registration” Product type is listed in the “Product Types” box in the settings and all is selected.

Is there a reason why the variations may not be showing on the product page. I did try hacking the code an adding a check for the “reservations” product type and it displayed but I assume there might be more places it is checked as it didn’t seem to work completely.
