Cert Not Renewing

    My certificate expires in under 2 weeks. When I try to go through the renewal, I’m running into the following problems:

    1. I’m told the plugin cannot update my TXT entry on my DNS settings. However, the TXT entry already exists.

    2. The plugin tells me to manually update the certificate because it can’t do it automatically (after generation / renewal). However, when I paste the CRT text into the certificate area in Cpanel, I’m given a warning that the certificate will expire in 13 days. So it looks like the certificate is not renewing.

    Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi @macstainless,

    it seems like the wizard returns the old certificate. What you can do in this case is press the ‘Reset Let’s Encrypt’ link in the top right corner of the wizard. This will reset the wizard which should generate a new SSL certificate which you can then manually install.

    Hi, I had the same issue.
    I use godaddy as a host and cpanel.

    I needed to delete the old key, update AND install the new certificate, key and CABUNDLE.

    I’m back up and running again.
