Trying to test shop
-
Hello,
I am pretty new to wordpress development and woocommerce so apologies if this is confusing. I am trying to test out my shop page. I have paypal payments enabled as we want to only do paypal at the current moment. I enabled the paypal sandbox mode and created a new paypal account to use as my test account. I connected the test account to paypal and I was trying to purchase something on my site in an incognito window so any cache issues would not be a problem. I was able to log in to paypal using the customer sandbox account and after I pressed buy there was a loading animation that lasted for like 3 minutes and then an alert popped up with no text, and then I was still at the checkout screen. So there was no confirmation screen or anything. Here are the console logs errorsGET https://b.sbox.stats.paypal.com/v2/counter.cgi?p=uid_b79e86660f_mtg6mjm6nty&s=SMART_PAYMENT_BUTTONS net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Image (async) r.open._m @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 nt.asyncData.initAndCollect @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 load (async) E @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 nt.asyncData.initAndCollect @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 (anonymous) @ fb.js:1 jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 POST https://vamospublications.com/?blocksy-header-id=type-1&wc-ajax=checkout&elementor_page_id=366 500 send @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 ajax @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 s.ajax.s.ajax @ jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.3.2:2 submit @ checkout.min.js?ver=6.7.0:1 dispatch @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 v.handle @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2
I then tried pressing buy again and the same thing happened.
I checked my orders afterward and it seems that the first order went through, I received a processing order. The second order that I placed failed. The error message I received for the second order was Could not process order. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
As I said I am new to all this and it is possible that I did not set up my store correctly, I am wondering if anyone knows what the problem could possibly be. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
