I happened to peek into wp-content/cache/wpo-cache/ today and saw that all kinds of image attachment pages were being cached. When I have looked before that was not the case. I don’t know what caused the change.

How can I exclude attachment pages from cache?

  • @jwmc Could you please try to add the attachment pages url to “URLs to exclude from caching” from WP-Optimize > cache > Advanced settings and check if it works?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Unfortunately there is no consistent path or name part to use for excluding them, and there are hundreds of them.

@jwmc Is there a common path for attachments pages, you can use wild card if the attachment pages have common path.

No path or name parts in common. They all have urls at site root.

@jwmc At the moment there’s no option to exclude the root path
