    I am suddenly having an issue with updating and saving the Product Short description and/or the product image. If open a product and make updates to those fields and then click update. The changes disappear. I have even tried deleting the product and recreating it and it does the same. I suspect the product database is somehow corrupted but I am not sure how to correct the issue. Has any one else run into this? I deactivating and reactivating the plug-in but it does not seem to make a difference.

    I suspect that a theme or plugin may be causing the issue. The best way to determine if there is a theme/plugin conflict is to:

    1. Switch your theme to Storefront.
    2. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce.
    3. Check if the you’re able to add/edit and save the products.

    If you are able save the product, the problem is with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your plugins one by one, testing after each reactivation until you find the one causing conflict.

    If the issue still persists, kindly share the following information:

      1. System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
      2. Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Thank you for your suggestions. It turns out it was not being caused by my theme (Astra) but after switching to (Storefront) disabling all the plugins except for WooCommerce and enabling them one at time I was able to pinpoint which plug-in was causing my issue. In my case I was able to determine it is being caused by the plugin “Product Variations Swatches for WooCommerce” By VillaTheme, which is really disappointing because I think thier plug-in is awesome! Once I discovered which plugin was causing the issue, I switched back to my original theme (Astra) and reapeated the process to confirm the issue it was still being caused by “Product Variations Swatches for WooCommerce”. I am going to reachout to them and let them know about this issue. Thank you again for your prompt response and support.
