When testing the SureCart implementation of iDEAL via Stripe it is strange that you’re required to use the “Volledige naam” field. There is no option to delete this field according to the SureCart support team. When going to the other tab for credit card no name is required.
Because the name is already asked in the first field, I would like to see an option to remove the “Volledige naam” field that’s inside the iDEAL form. It would be great if Stripe can get the name from the first field “Je naam” that’s already inside the form.
I mention it right here, because I don’t know right now how the iDEAL implementation is done for Mollie. Maybe it’s similar to how the iDEAL implementation of Stripe is done.
It would be great if Mollie (and Stripe) can get the name from the first field. Because for the end user it is strange to ask for their name twice (red arrows in screenshot). (The first field you need for the credit card, because otherwise you have no name.)
Yup! We just released Mollie processor integration. We’ve also improved the Stripe payment element so that it uses any name/email etc. that you have already entered as a default value. This gives the customer an opportunity to make a change in case the billing name, address, or email is different than their account.
