Hi @yukiko-kawa
Are you sure that the cause is PublishPress Blocks? As we cannot reproduce the issue.
Please check these screenshot:
Let me know if I’m missing some steps.
Thanks,
you are right that it is not only yours, but it is a combination of yours and another together.
If I deactivate yours, the system works.
But, trying your + color on a clean site and no one else … the problem arises.
I have already deactivated verse plugin to test which one was giving problems. being a production site i should test other site one by one.
And right now I don’t have time.
I also checked the theme, which does not affect.I leave you the list of possible interfering plugins that I have not yet checked.
then I’ll calmly try to find out which one is interfering!————————

Do you mind informing me what you did to reproduce the issue? As you said you can reproduce it with PublishPress Block + Blocks Editor Color on a clean install. If there is any screen record, that would be helpful because we cannot replicate this issue on a clean install.
To replicate it you must install:
PublishPress Block + Blocks Editor + a plugin from the site above. The problem occurs to me on a site in production, I cannot suddenly deactivate all the plugins. I’ve already ruled out some that I could turn off.
If I have time next week I will try to check just which other plugin creates the bug in combination with your plugin.
The strange thing: I thought about your plugin because deactivating it the problem disappeared.
But actually when I tried to put only PublishPress Block + Blocks Editor, the bug disappeared. So I think there is a plugin that interferes with yours that interferes with that of colors.
Now I don’t have time to put up a test site and try to take them all off …
That’s all, excuse meI had some time over the weekend.
trying to understand the plugin that was giving problems, I realized that some gaps in your plugin settings remain disabled as soon as it was installed.
and here is the analysis.I found that there are 2 settings that alter the color plugin.
is settings “Enable access to blocks” if enabled, the custom colors are not seen, if not enabled, ONLY the customized colors and not the standard WP ones are seen.
But be careful, if we also disable the “Enable custom styles” option and then we have:“Enable access to blocks” disabled
“Enable Custom Styles” disabledThen the color plugin works correctly, with both color sets.
Thanks for sharing the details, @yukiko-kawa!
PublishPress Block + Blocks Editor + a plugin from the site above.
Which plugin from the site above you activated along Blocks Editor? This will help us to reproduce the issue in our end.
Looking forward to help you
I found that it is not an influence plugin
but the combination of 2 settings of your plugin:
“Enable access to blocks” disabled
“Enable Custom Styles” disabledAll OK.
“Enable access to blocks” disabled
“Enable Custom Styles” active
Problem..“Enable access to blocks” active
“Enable Custom Styles” disabledproblem…
“Enable access to blocks” active
“Enable Custom Styles” active
problem…with the colors plugin
Thanks for the more detailed information @yukiko-kawa
However, I still cannot replicate it.
Please refer to this video for how it works on my end and let me know if I’m missing something: https://www.loom.com/share/565a6c1d23484f63899816769102bc5e
I put the effort I could into it.
sorry if I can’t explain myself better. No worries. Have you seen my videos? Did I miss some steps in replicating it or no?
