Broadcasting Woocommerce variable products – featured image

  • We have woocommerce installed on 2 wordpress sites (content & sales)

    We create a WooCommerce variable product on content
    Enter in all the product information for VARIABLE products with Managed Stock checked
    Attach a product image (not to each variable)
    We then use the “Broadcast” plugin to send the product to the sales site

    sometimes the content owner needs to modify the variable information (add, remove, edit)
    then they update on content
    which re-Braodcasts over the information to sales

    Doing this causes the image to break on sales site and the image gets removed from the media library on sales

    These are private sites not available to the public.

    Could you visit Admin > Broadcast > Settings tab > Misc subtab

    Is “keep attachments” checked?
    Is the action for existing attachments to use?

    That will keep the existing attachments on the child, never delete them and if you add a new image it will be broadcasted.
