Contact Form 7 no Mail!
-
Dear Community,
I’m just trying Contact Form 7 because I was able to install the plugin “multiple file upload” which should normally work with it.
I want my customers to be able to send me pictures of their walls. Then I use photomontage and can show them what my works would look like on their wall.
That’s why I use a Contact Form together with the free plugin.(Please do not be surprised if you view the form on my site. It’s only a draft and it turned out really bad! I just wanted to test the function. But unfortunately, it has already failed even that.)
Now to the problem: Immediately after downloading Contact Form 7, I was asked to confirm my e-mail address.
I haven’t received an e-mail within two hours.The same thing happens when I test my form in the frontend. I do not receive an e-mail from Contact Form. No matter what I put into the settings. So the form doesn’t help me at all, because my future customers can upload photos (after all!), but I never know about it because I do not receive a confirmation email with the customer details and the submitted photos.

Currently, the form looks like this:
[/acceptance] [submit "Los gehts!"]

My E-Mail-settings look like this:
To: [email protected] From: [email protected] (I entered this address because I read that this field value should be an email address that belongs to the same domain as the website) Subject: I didn't use an email tag here, I just put "new data upload" so I can match the emails faster. Additional headers: I left this field empty. But I have also tested it with content. Neither works. Message text: Neuer Datenupload, mein Bild an Deiner Wand – Fotos für Montage im Anhang. Von: [Vor-undNachname] E-Mail: [E-Mail-Adresse] Gewünschtes Werk: [GewnschtesWerkfrdieFotomontage] Nachricht des Absenders: [DeineNachrichtanmichoptional] I have checked the box for "Use HTML content type". File attachments: This is the tag I entered as the name for the multiple file upload field. Email (2): I don't need an autoresponder, so I didn't check this.
///
When I save everything like this, no error message appears, but when I test the form, I don’t get an email as admin as I said. I could imagine that there is a problem in general since I already didn’t get the confirmation email.
Or maybe I just have something configured incorrectly?
I am totally stumped.Thanks for your help and best regards from Germany.
