Installed and activated the 10web Booster plugin, created my 10web account.

During the final step (Calculating new score), Windows 10 crashed, automatically rebooted. During the reboot, I suffered an unwanted Windows 10 update. After the reboot, the Firefox browser re-opened and my tabs were restored.

The 10web Dashboard did not reflect the new scores. I did, however go to the pagespeed insights website myself and got the new scores, which were improved from 24/74 to 88/99.

I do run a VPN, but have no idea is this caused the problem.

    Any insights, anyone?

    Thanks,

    Larry

Dear Larry, thanks for the inquiry.

Our Speed optimizer does not run anything heavy in the browser.

You may try run a speed check in 10Web dashboard once again.

The crushing of your windows just coincided with the timing of running a speed check.
The speed optimizer does not affect any windows files.

    Best regards.
