Hi, I found your plugin has problem on Sale price update. When we delete the Sale price value, your plugin will not update Facebook side to remove the Sale price.

    Please check.

Shall I know how we can fix this now ?

  • Hi @uniquegrouplimited,

After removing the sale price, if it is stuck you can try to force a manual update by deleting the Metadata of the product and have it re-sync to Facebook. This is done in the Facebook Product Sync section of the Product, either with Reset Facebook Metadata or Delete Facebook Product(s) and then saving the product by updating it.

Otherwise you can force a manual re-sync by going to Marketing > Facebook and doing a sync there.

If the issue persists let us know!

    Hi, Mike

Reset Facebook Metadata > we have tried. This is not worked.
manual re-sync > not worked too.
Delete Facebook Product(s) > This is crazy action…..If one day, our client has large scale on-sale promotion, our clients need to delete all and resync…it seems not make sense…

Do you have other solutions on this ?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Andrew

    Hello,

When we delete the Sale price value, your plugin will not update Facebook side to remove the Sale price.

May I ask for more details about this? May I know how are you deleting the sale price, is this made by any plugin? Is this a manual update?

Can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Please include this on your response, that will help to get a better understanding of this case.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I have the exact same problem as @uniquegrouplimited . We had a huge sale the last week and eventhough we have already deleted the sale price, it still appears in Instagram and Facebook shop. We have more than 1500 products, we can′t manually delete every one of them and then create them again. I didn′t had this problem until now.

    Hope you can help us.

    Regards,
    Edson

Having the same issue. It does not resolve after resetting Facebook metadata or re-syncing.

@4nomadsperu @kirstensmitcreative We found the temp way to solve this.

First Step > input $0 into “On Sale Price”
Second Step > Delete the value in the On Sale Price field

    This way work for us.

    Hope this help you.

    @ihereira

This is your plugin bugs obviously. Better check your side internally.

    Thanks a lot.

Thanks thats the only thing that seemed to work. Thankfully I noticed it was only a couple of new products that were added at the time of the sale. I tried the code snippets thing and that didnt work.

    Hi @uniquegrouplimited,

There was a bug issue regarding the Flatsome theme and how core WP had a bug which prevented some things were working. More on this is here. The end result was a workaround that is being applied to the next Facebook release for a filter to be applied which can help this matter.

If you have the Flatsome theme on the site, then this would be the reason – if you do not, the filter should also help prevent this with other themes after the update. Hope this helps!

    Hello @nixiack8

Thank you for the update. Indeed, I have the Flatsome theme. I would like to know when are you going to release the new version of the plugin?

    Regards,
    Edson
