    Hi everyone,
using mailpoet in every websites i’ve done (when newsletter needed inside) i need to know today how to add a simple Opt-in Checkbox in elementor form as the same way than in woocommerce registration.
If the user check the opt-in box when sending form his mail is automatically registered in mailpoet list – if no form is sended but no registration for user in mailing list.

    THx in advance.

  • Hi there @nico-lino,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please ensure to follow these steps to integrate MailPeot with your Elementor form?

    https://elementor.com/help/mailpoet-elementor-integration/

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi Eliva K.

I have the same issue as Nico-lino. I want to add an acceptance checkbox for my newsletter.

When I go to the link you mentioned. I have the following issues:

    1. Using Elementor Form (screenshot1)
When I create extra form fields besides (first name, last name, email) for example telephone number, I don’t see this in the MailPoet 3 section settings in Elementor Form.

    2. Auto Confirm option missing in MailPoet3 Elementor Form Settings (see screenshot 2)
In the video (see link you mentioned) about MailPoet and Elementor Integration I see the option Auto Confirm. When I go to my Elementor form, I use both the latest versions of Elementor Pro en MailPoet 3) I don’t see the Auto Confirm option.

Hope you can help me out!

    Hi @nico-lino,

As I understand, you’d like to add an opt-in checkbox to your Elementor form which would be conditional to subscribing the users to your MailPoet list or not, is that right?

Unfortunately, I’m afraid it’s not possible. The current integration between MailPoet and Elementor allows you to have these subscribers also added to your MailPoet list immediately, and they should receive a double opt-in email from our plugin. There’s no setting that would add them only if they have checked a specific checkbox at the moment.

This should be possible to achieve with extra coding, but then I believe it’s something Elementor would have to do on their end using our API.
