Annoying Pop Up ads

  • Hi All
    When visiting our site there are pop up ads coming up for various things, unrelated to our site and certainly not installed by us. How do I get rid of pop ups like that? Would plugins like Akismet help to prevent that?

  • Looks like your website has been infacted with malware. You’ll have to manually review for malware or restore old backup when your website was good.

    This malware infaction could be possible because of any untrusted plugin/theme installation or your login details were exposed or maybe any other possible reason.

    If you still can access and login info backend then install *WordFence* Plugin and scan the site first, it will help you find the infected files.
