Thank you for reaching out and really sorry for the very late reply! We’ve had a longer weekend due to a national holiday. Nevertheless, now we’re back on track with a normal schedule.
As far as the fixed amount per product setting goes, the commission’s amount will be calculated based on the product without taking into account the quantity.
If you add Product A in the cart, the commission’s amount will be $5, even if the quantity is 1 or 10. This is our current intended functionality.
I’ve tested all the scenarios you’ve shared and ended up with a different commission amount for the 3rd scenario:
1 of the item the the plugin will issue $5
2 different items (item A + item B) the plugin will issue $10
3 items (all the same item) the plugin will issue $5
3 items (2 item A + 1 item B) = $10
The above is the intended functionality. If you have 3 of the same product, the set rate will be taken into account for the product, not taking into account the quantity.
I hope this makes sense.
Can you please retry the third scenario and check the commission’s value? It should be $5, not $15, as long as you don’t have a custom commission rate set on the product.
Also, were you looking to have the commission amount calculated with the quantity taken into account? For example, if you have 15 x Product A, the amount issued to 15 * $5 = $75.
