• We are seeing some random characters being output at the top of our page.
Disabling the pixel your site plugin clears the characters. See screenshot linked

    Hello,

You or someone else probably added that string in one of the plugin’s “domain verification” fields (under each tag settings, on the main page), or using our Head and Footer option. Check them, delete, save, and it should be fine.

Thanks for your help, it was facebook domain verification.

I am curious why you’re verifying domains this way though.
Is there a way that doesn’t output the verification string to the top of the page or is that just the way Facebook requires you to verify?

And also, you’re saying I can safely delete this verification string after initial verification and the plugin will still function correctly right?

okay, well this is our bad I think. We had put in the verification code raw without the surrounding <meta> tag.

    I re-wrapped and I think we’re all good now ??

@woodardmc the verification code was not correct.
