Donation Import failed

    Hi, I tried to import some donation via a CSV file.
    The import procedure replies that it was done correctly, but the list of donations has not been updated. I made sure the TEST flag was not checked.

    My environmet: WP Version: 5.7.6 – Give Version: 1.8.13
    At the moment I cannot update wordpress and plugins because I have an ongoing donation campaign and the theme developer has not yet released the update for WP 6.0

    In the file I have entered these fields: email, name, surname, amount, form id and payment method as the example line that I report below.
    Csv Line example: “mail”,”name”,”surname”,120,4467,”PayPal Standard”
    Any suggestions?

    Wow! GiveWP version 1.8.13! That’s suuuuuper old, and there’s no way we’ll be able to track down what’s going on there. We try very hard to support older versions in some cases, but in this case, that’s just too old to be able to help.

    Your best bet is to wait on that import until you can update your GiveWP plugin to the latest version.

    Heads up, though: I would strongly recommend using a staging site to test those updates, because updating directly from 1.8.13 to the latest will almost certainly come with some nuances.

    There have been many MANY improvements to GiveWP in the nearly 5 years since 1.8.13 that you need to be taking advantage of.

    Ben, thank for your reply.

    I know my plugin version is very old, I attempted an update last year but it failed.
    I will definitely do some testing with a stage site to try out some updates.
