I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced the site being spammed!

First suggestion would be to try the Captcha field and select hCaptcha – it seems to be better at preventing spam than reCaptcha.

Another option, if the spam is coming from a specific country and you’re okay with blocking that country completely, you can use our other plugin Defender (free, available from here) and setup Geoblocking: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/defender/#locations
