    Error appeared – An error was encountered while trying to authenticate. Please try again

    Especially when activating Hide ‘wp-admin’
    To change the admin’s login path to the site
    When disabled, login works without any problem
    But I need a solution

    Hi @adhamammar3, thanks for getting in touch.

    We generally suggest not hiding the WordPress login pages as this can cause issues on your site where other plugins require this path. With certain “security through obscurity” methods such as this, we feel this only serves to slightly slow down somebody with malicious intent rather than stop them entirely: https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2017/10/should-you-hide-wordpress-login-page/

    Wordfence’s reCAPTCHA and 2FA are designed to only work with WordPress’ default registration and login pages so bear this in mind if any custom forms or paths are ever changed in this area. Some of our customers do still wish to hide their login pages and I have seen some working in the past so you may be using an incompatible plugin, so could try others to see if you get better results.
