    Hi

I want to send a email sequence to all new users on the site. I have some questions

    a) Does every new WordPress-user get added to the list “WordPress users” which is auto-generated? Despite that we use a registration form which does not support your checkbox? We have a checkbox but it isnt linked to your plugin (we use Armember plugin).
    b) Does welcome mails only send to confirmed subscribers or?

    Hi there @victorthomsen,

    a) Does every new WordPress-user get added to the list “WordPress users” which is auto-generated? Despite that we use a registration form which does not support your checkbox?

Yes, the WordPress User list is auto-generated based on the users on the site — if they have an actual user account, then they will be included in that list.

Whether they are added as “Subscribed”, “Unsubscribed”, or “Unconfirmed” would depend on a few different settings, which you can read about here:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/133-the-wordpress-users-list#sign-up-confirmation

    b) Does welcome mails only send to confirmed subscribers or?

Yes, the Welcome emails would only be sent to subscribers in the “Subscribed” status. If you have double opt-in / confirmation enabled (which is required when sending with the MailPoet Sending Service), then users would be added as “Unconfirmed”, and would only receive the Welcome email after they confirm their subscription.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

    Thank you very much!

I have made som Woocommerce-emails which are been send when a product is purchased. But the mails only send first time a customer purchased the product?

    How do I fix this?

And I have some welcome mails, but what to do when a user delete their account and register again? I experience that they dont get the mails second time the register?

    Hi there @victorthomsen,

But the mails only send first time a customer purchased the product?
    How do I fix this?

There’s not a “fix” for that, since that is the expected behavior with the Woo emails as described in the documentation below — the emails only send for the “first purchase” of a specific product/category/etc:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/277-woocommerce-automatic-emails#purchased-this-product

It would be great if you could add this (option to send every time or just first time) as a suggestion/enhancement request on our feedback/ideas board here: https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin.

And I have some welcome mails, but what to do when a user delete their account and register again? I experience that they dont get the mails second time the register?

Are you sure that the account/subscriber was completely deleted in the backend of the site?

As described in the documentation below, if they just unsubscribe and then resubscribe, that won’t trigger the Welcome email to send again. You would need to completely delete them from the Subscriber list, and then they would need to resubscribe afterward:

I am sure the user is deleted from the backend but I have experienced that the users is not deleted from the MailPoet WordPress User List.

Do I need to delete the user manuel from this list og does it automatically synchronize with the users?

    Hi @victorthomsen,

Do I need to delete the user manuel from this list og does it automatically synchronize with the users?

If the user has been deleted as a WordPress User but is still showing up as a subscriber in the WordPress Users list, you can try to force sync this list by going to the MailPoet > Lists page and clicking the “Force Sync” link below the WordPress Users list.

Also, make sure you’ve also cleared your website and browser’s cache.
