Processing status and payments

    Hi,
    Can I leave orders sitting in Processing status for a few weeks whilst I wait for backordered items to arrive or will the payments be reversed after a certain period of time?

  • Hi @tradin,

    You can leave it as Processing with very little issue. Orders by default are set to Processing after the payment has been run on a particular order; unless the products are Virtual and Downloadable the Processing option is the end ‘auto’ option for orders. More on order statuses can be seen here.
