String and Parameter sxntax problem

    So whenever i try to purchase via paypal it gives this error on checkout page;

    INVALID_STRING_LENGTH The value of a field is either too short or too long.
INVALID_PARAMETER_SYNTAX The value of a field does not conform to the expected format.

    I checked my paypal configuration and it works fine. I dont know what causes this to happen.

    I deleted the plugin and reinsalled it few times already. It doesnt change a thing. Any ideas?

    Hi @sexcuk,

    Reinstalling the plugin will not influence this error.
    This can mean two things:
    – either the PayPal API credentials are not correct
    – or there is a potential conflict with a different plugin

    The best way to ensure the credentials are correct is by using the onboarding wizard: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#connect-paypal-account
    The error can occur when an invalid merchant ID has been provided and this would be my primary suspicion.

    To rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin, we recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

    But reconnected the account via the onboarding wizard should ideally resolve the error.
