Registration checkbox for commercial communicatio

Hello!
I’m quite los with this topic. I need a checkbox in registration form so the user can give consent for commercial communications. I’ve been seeing php functions and custom fields and that, but I cannot really find the way to do it.
I would appreciate if someone could help me with this!

What “registration form” are you referring to?
Do you mean WordPress’ built-in user registration form (pictured below), or something else?
