basic WordPress questions about Elementor

I have been using a very basic wordpress page for our nonprofit. Recently when the webmaster resigned from a related nonprofit I inherited that site as well. That site use elementor and I am really having a time figuring out how to update. Our elementor subscription is getting ready to expire and I was wondering if i should renew. Will I loose everying that has been done with elementor without it?

Also, the main page on the site I am familiar with has a simple “edit” button at the top. This new page doesn’t have that and I havent found a “main page” or “landing page” under pages. It also has Jarida. Where do I need to be looking to edit this main page?
