    Hi @restaurantespalma,

Thanks for reaching out! Could you please provide more information? so that I can check with our developers (file name, file path, and example code).

In case it helps, you can download the latest version of the WP Mail SMTP plugin through the WordPress plugins repository. Also, you can check the code published on GitHub.

    Thanks!

    Hi @darshanaw

Thanks for getting back to me.

I’m not very techy, but I think you mean the following by file path correct?

    public_html > wp-contentplugins > wp-mail-smtp > libs > sodium_compat > namespaced > Crypto.php

I can send you screenshots if that helps, if so, please share the best email address for this.

    I’m using Versión 3.4.0

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Christian.

    Hi @restaurantespalma,

As I have checked with our developers, we include the “sodium_compat” library in our plugin for older WordPress versions (lower than WP 5.2).

For newer WordPress versions (greater than 5.2+), WordPress core itself loads that library, so the same file can be found in WP core as well.

    https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-includes/sodium_compat/namespaced/Crypto.php

Basically, we’re using this library for SMTP Password encryption.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
