REST API error when activate TranslatePress

When TranslatePress is activated to my site then Site Health check Tool shows the following error:

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

and Query Monitor plugin provides the following related info:

cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10002 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

The above error dissapeares when TranslatePress is deactivated.

To mention also that this is a new dev environment that created in order to face this error that first appeared in my main production site for about a week now. Moreover TranslatePress is working in this production site for at least a year now without having any kind of problems. This problem appeared the last days and this is what i’m trying to solve now.
