I can’t edit or make posts (error 406)

  • Hey,

    I run the site mrbullbull.com and as of Tuesday, I keep getting the Error 406 request blocked whenever I try to edit or schedule a post.

    I have had issues with this in the past, but I had already edited and scheduled multiple posts that day when it just stopped working.

    I have updated everything on the web site, but it is still not working.

  • I can access your page without any problems, so I don’t think there is a general problem at the moment. Have you ever tried to edit the page with another browser? If it works with this one, the cause is your first browser.

    Hey,

    So I’m not sure if you can help me, but I was told by my domain host that my “hosting provider” is actually a company called “packetexchange.eu.”

    However, I have been trying to contact them for a week now (both via email and on their support page), but I have not heard back from them at all (not even a confirmation).

    The same error keeps happening and I don’t know who to turn to for support. I read through the document you linked to, but I’m afraid that I’m just not on a level to do that (or at least I worry that I’d bring down the whole site).

    Any help would be great.

    Contacting your hosting support is the right way. As long as you don’t have access to your hosting, no one can judge or investigate anything – that’s not possible from here, especially since I can’t reproduce your problem.
