  • Got a link to your site because on the demo I dont see border lines.

Depends on what you want to remove. Take a look at your theme settings under Visual Effects -> Theme Skinning. You can remove a bunch of borders and set backgrounds there. For others you can follow this tutorial, which is really a guide to using Firebug and the Custom Styles section of Suffusion.

want to remove pretty much most of the square border lines around everything but still cant find a way how in either the settings of that tutorial wasn’t specific enough

There is no simple “flip-the-switch” recipe for that. You have to individually change all the styles by identifying all the CSS elements through something like Firebug.

As a word of advice, do that in a child theme or in the Custom Styles option, otherwise your changes will get overwritten when you upgrade the theme.

remove border suffussion… first hit on google and no solution. That is a pitty because it is a nice theme.

Please include a ‘flip the switch’ option for this problem. The theme is nice, but borders are ugly.

I want all border below the header gone… I hoped to find here where I can change the border color to #ffffff, this would solve a lot, but it is too complicated and timeconsuming now.

(also, for the develloppers(s) [another topic] the fancy floating save changes button that appeared after the last update does not appear on my pc so i can not make changes there. On my laptop it does. )

I have no plans to do that (ever). The borders go very nicely with the different color schemes and for the ones that the border is not required, I have removed them (e.g. Minima). If you want to remove them for other skins feel free to do so following the instructions. Plus there are several posts on the support forum for the theme which tell you how to do it.

You might find this time-consuming, but it is even more time-consuming for me to provide that as an option.

There are very simple ways to get around this, as mentioned here: https://www.aquoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2679&p=12702#p12702.

If you are using one of the dark themes it is easy to remove the borders. Just go into the dark-style.css and change all the border colors to match the background from #222 to #000

    hope that helps somebody
